Application of epoxy glass fiber winding tube in phase-shifting rectifier transformer
Performance characteristics of epoxy glass fiber winding tube
Epoxy glass fiber winding tube refers to tubular insulation material made of glass fiber (i.e. glass fiber) as the main reinforcing material through a specific process (such as impregnation with resin and then winding). It has a high glass transition temperature (usually between 130~155℃), which can meet the insulation requirements of phase-shifting rectifier transformers in high temperature environments. In addition, the epoxy glass fiber winding tube can be wound according to the use requirements. And the winding angle can also be set to special angles such as 30°, 45°, 60°, etc. as required, which makes it possible to be flexibly used in phase-shifting rectifier transformers.
Characteristics and requirements of phase-shifting rectifier transformers
Phase-shifting rectifier transformers are a type of rectifier transformer. Through special wiring methods and phase-shifting technology, they can increase the number of rectifier pulses, which can reduce the harmonic content of the input current and reduce harmonic pollution to the power grid. In phase-shifting rectifier transformers, the structure and insulation performance of the windings are one of the key factors. Since phase-shifting rectifier transformers usually use complex wiring methods and split winding structures, the requirements for their insulation materials are also relatively high.
Application of epoxy glass fiber winding tube in phase-shifting rectifier transformer
1. As winding insulation layer
Epoxy glass fiber winding tube is often used as the insulation layer of phase-shifting rectifier transformer winding due to its excellent insulation performance and high temperature resistance. The specific method is to tightly wrap the epoxy glass fiber winding tube on the winding to ensure electrical isolation between the windings and between the windings and the iron core. This can not only prevent current short circuit, but also protect the winding from electric shock and high temperature damage.
2. Used for lead wire insulation
In the phase-shifting rectifier transformer, the lead wire (i.e. the connection wire between the winding and the external circuit) also needs to be insulated. The epoxy glass fiber winding tube can be tightly wrapped around the lead wire to play the role of insulation and fixation. This can not only prevent the lead wire from contacting with external objects and causing a short circuit, but also ensure the stability and safety of the lead wire.
3. Used for insulation protection at the connection point
At the winding connection point of the phase-shifting rectifier transformer, since there are connections between multiple windings, insulation treatment is also required. The epoxy glass fiber winding tube can be wrapped around the connection point to ensure electrical isolation between the connection points. This not only prevents the current short circuit between the connection points, but also improves the overall insulation performance of the transformer.
Epoxy glass fiber winding tubes have broad application prospects in phase-shifting rectifier transformers. By reasonably selecting specifications, keeping them clean and dry, winding them evenly, and performing regular inspections and maintenance, it is possible to ensure that the epoxy glass fiber winding tubes have good insulation performance in phase-shifting rectifier transformers and improve the safety and reliability of the transformers.
