How to choose the right model of box-type transformers?
1. Consider the size of the transformer
The size of the transformer should be selected according to the space size of the equipment and the installation environment. The smaller the size, the lower the power is. And the cost may also be reduced accordingly.
When choosing, make sure that the size of the selected transformer is suitable for the installation location, while taking into account the convenience of future maintenance and replacement.
2. Determine the parameters of the transformer
Rated capacity: Rated capacity is one of the important parameters of the box-type transformer, which determines the maximum load that the transformer can withstand. When choosing, you need to weigh it according to the use environment and actual conditions.
Energy efficiency and noise: Choose transformers that meet environmental protection and energy-saving requirements, as well as models with lower noise to reduce the impact on the environment and personnel.
4. Other considerations
Environmental conditions: Box-type transformers are usually used outdoors or in special environments. So their protection level, temperature resistance, and moisture resistance must meet the actual conditions on site. If the transformer is installed in a high temperature or humid environment, choosing a model with corresponding protection measures will help extend the service life of the equipment.
