Phenolic back-up sheet is made by hot pressing with phenolic resin modified by tung oil and impregnated with bleached wood pulp paper. It has good punching and electrical properties, and is mainly used for carbon film potentiometers, resistors and small electrical insulation parts.

Features: Phenolic back-up sheet has high mechanical and dielectric properties, good heat resistance and moisture resistance. Phenolic back-up sheet has good toughness, is not brittle, is not easy to delaminate, and is not easy to bubble at high voltage.
Uses: Insulating structural parts in motors and electrical equipment, including various switches, electrical insulation, carbon film printed circuit boards, computer drilling pads, mold fixtures, etc. (PCB test racks). It can also be used in humid environmental conditions and transformer oil.
