What Is The Task of The Power Transformer?

The task of the power supply transformer is to supply power directly to the load center. The primary side is directly connected to the main voltage network (220kV and above) or to the regional power supply network (35~110kV). Such transformers not only provide active power to the load, but also provide reactive power at the same time, and generally have a large short-circuit impedance. Transformer core loss has a large relationship with frequency, so it should be designed and used according to the frequency of use. This frequency is called the working frequency. Refers to the ratio of the primary voltage to the secondary voltage of the transformer, which has the difference between the no-load voltage ratio and the load-to-voltage ratio.

When the transformer is open secondary, there is still a certain current in the primary, and this part of the transformer component is called no-load current. The no-load current consists of magnetizing current (generating magnetic flux) and iron loss current (caused by core loss). For a 50 Hz power transformer, the no-load current is substantially equal to the magnetizing current. As the regional load changes, if the on-load tap-changer is not configured, the supply bus voltage will change accordingly. Our company's vacuum switch models are BPK△165-35/75-(05-09), BPK△165-35/75-(05-09)Z.

It is suitable for voltage level 35KV, maximum rated through phase current is 165A, rated frequency is 50Hz, three-phase arbitrarily connected dry power transformer through type test, switch production. After the user uses it, it proves that the quality of the vacuum switch of this model is up to standard and the work is reliable. It has been widely used in various fields of the power distribution industry.
