Feature of Amorphous Alloy Resin Cast Dry-Type Transformer
The iron core of amorphous alloy transformers is made of amorphous alloy. Amorphous alloy materials contains metal atoms in a disordered amorphous state whose loss is lower than that of silicon steel core, thus having the effect of high efficiency and energy saving. The area enclosed by the hysteresis loop of the amorphous alloy is much smaller than that of the cold rolled silicon steel sheet, so the hysteresis loss of the amorphous alloy is much smaller than that of the cold rolled silicon steel sheet, besides, its core loss is very low, even 70% lower than that of conventional silicon steel sheet. Due to low loss, amorphous alloy transformers generate less heat and lower temperature rise, and can be operated in a stable state, which have become an ideal transformer of low-loss and energy-saving.
